Construction and Demolition Landfill Fees
Local Elk County residential use:
Minimum, ½ & ¾ ton pick-up, small trailers $20.00 per load
1 ½ & 2 ton trucks (Six Wheeler) $30.00 per load
Small dumpers and 10 wheeler $40.00 per load
Non-local and contractor use:
Minimum, ½ & ¾ ton pick-up, small trailers $30.00 per load
1 ½ - 2 ton trucks, 6 wheeler $40.00 per load
10 wheeler $75.00 per load
End dumper (Semi) $150.00 per load
Haulers will pay their fees at the City Clerk’s office and present their receipt at the site prior to dumping, the operator will sign the receipt to prevent its reuse.
All of the above rates are minimum charges; however, any unusual large or unusual composition load charges are to be worked out with the site operator prior to dumping.
Any unacceptable materials shall be immediately removed from the sire, prior to dumping, by the hauler.
Construction and demolition waste means waste building materials and rubble resulting from construction, remodeling, repair or demolition operations on houses, commercial buildings, other structures and pavements. NO HOUSEHOLD TRASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.
There will be no scavenging or salvaging of material from the site. Persons attempting to do so will be asked to leave and failure to leave may result in arrest for trespassing. Persons removing material from the site may be arrested for felony stealing.
The landfill is open 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5p.m. Monday thru Friday and Saturday by appointment only.
