Dog Note: We are receiving an increase in reports of dogs running loose. Dogs will be impounded and we have to follow all the State required steps to get them released. We work hard to find their owners, but most don't have identification on them. Our dog pound is a 'minimal holding facility' and we can hold the dogs 3 days, then have to have them euthanized. PLEASE do not let your dog run, and if one gets loose, report it to us so we can get it back to you quickly if possible.
Cats are not regulated by the City. However, you ARE responsible for ANY animal that you feed or that lives on your property, and are responsible for any damage that animal causes. You are ALWAYS bound by all State and Federal regulations on animal care, neglect and abuse.
