The City of Howard is seeking a full-time Street Maintenance worker to join our team. All City employees must cross-train in all City departments. This is an hourly position and requires employee to work every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday on a set rotating schedule. The starting wage is $18. Employees must live within 15 minutes of Howard. Experience with machinery operation and maintenance is preferred. Full time employee benefits include KPERS, optional health insurance, 9 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time. There is a 2.5% convenience fee for credit/debit cards or a $1.50 flat fee for an online check transaction that is added to your payment. If you are paying over $60, you may wish to use the online check option as it will be a little cheaper for larger payments.
